Cheek & Mid-Facelift (SOOF Lift)

The lower eyelid and cheek should be considered as a single unit. As we age, the soft tissue structures of the face begin to descend due to gravity, stretching and other factors. This gives the face an aged and hollow appearance. Frequently, lower eyelid bags exacerbate the aged appearance by creating a clear border between the eyelid and the cheek. By elevating the soft tissues of the mid-face a more youthful appearance of the eyelid-cheek junction can be achieved.  A cheek/mid-face lift is a surgical procedure designed to restore the position of the mid-face to blend the junction between the eyelid and the cheek. Using minimally invasive techniques with small incisions, the droopy tissues of the cheek can be elevated to restore the youthful appearance of the mid-face.
